Beginning his career in 1983, he gained extensive experience in both local and national firms, including Horwath International (formerly Laventhol & Horwath) and Ernst & Young (formerly Arthur Young), working with small businesses, mid‑sized companies, and multinational clients.
In January 1990, he established his own CPA practice—an endeavor grounded in personalized service, technical excellence, and a vision for long‑term client partnerships. Driven by sustained growth, exceptional client trust, and an expanding service portfolio, this practice evolved into M & R CPA Services, PSC in 2001.
Throughout his career, he has been a trusted advisor to businesses and individuals throughout Puerto Rico, providing comprehensive solutions in accounting, auditing, and both State and federal taxation. His professional credentials include membership in the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants, Certified Fraud Examiner designation, and affiliations with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and the Financial Planning Association. Antonio Delgado Colón, CPA, graduated Cum Laude from the University of Puerto Rico at Humacao in 2002, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting. Shortly after completing his degree, he began his professional career in public accounting in November 2002 with the firm of Arturo Morales Padró, CPA, where he received comprehensive training and valuable exposure to complex accounting, auditing, tax, and regulatory compliance matters. He has been a proud member of the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants (PRCPA) since 2004.
With more than two decades of professional experience, Antonio has developed extensive expertise in financial auditing, accounting services, business advisory, consulting, and taxation at both the Puerto Rico and federal levels.
